It was announced earlier today that Han Geng, also known by his Korean name Hankyung, has legal documents to terminate his contact with SM Entertainment. According to South Korean Sources, Han Geng has formally requested in the Seoul Central District Court for his contact to be voided by the end of July 2010.

Han Geng is the only Chinese member of the Seoul-based South Korean boy band Super Junior, joining upon beating 3000 others in an SM audition held in China. He had also experienced legal trouble in the band, when after first joining he was banned from publicly performing in Korea, due to Korean laws and an incorrect visa. In recent years he had overcome these troubles, actively performing in Super Junior and the Chinese sub-group Super Junior M. He was even given the honor of a torch bearer position in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Little else is known at this time. Lawyers have not disclosed the key details in the case as of yet.

Sina Chinese Entertainment News has confirmed that they will produce reports updating the public on the matter.
